I was a little bit worried whether I would have the time and energy to be writing and posting today. To be honest, I am tired, and a little bit regretting of putting that 100-word minimum for this challenge.

I know summer isn’t officially over until September 22, and unofficially after Labor Day, yet the grief of this summer wrapping up is taking a little more of a toll on me than any other year for the first time in a while.

Happy first day of September, which means the first day of this challenge. And already, we’re off to a great start (she tells herself as she is trying to write this an hour before midnight).

I literally had this idea just as I was cleaning my kitchen/living room space and ruminating on the guilt for not putting a little more effort and structure into blogging this year.
